I love pancakes. Especially fluffy Bisquick pancakes, straight from the box. There is just something about them.
So when I came across this recipe, I wasn’t super stoked to make (or eat) it.
“Here we go again, taking a classic food like pancakes, removing all the tasty stuff, and adding different ingredients to make them healthy. Can’t we just enjoy an unhealthy, fluffy, white flour pancake (soaked in syrup) every once in a while?”
Okay, i’m off my soapbox.
So, I tried these pancakes…and I was pleasantly surprised. They are tasty AND hearty. (And there was something about the grainy crunchiness in the pancakes that I really liked!)
These pancakes were so easy and quick to make in the WonderMix blender. (I did love the fact that I didn’t have to hand mix the batter. I just threw everything in the blender and turned it on for a couple minutes.)
So, even though these pancakes are “healthier” than your average pancake, they are still really tasty [especially covered in butter and syrup].
Give ‘em a whirl! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
